Kelly Nash grew up in Davie, Florida a city located outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Kelly Nash grew up boating and fishing with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash is her sister , and Carolyn Nash is her brother. Kelly Nash is of English and Irish origin. She is also Swedish. Her great-grandfather, who was a Portuguese immigrants, arrived in America from Portugal.



 Kelly Nash loved the Miami Marlins at a young age. Although Nash was always interested in sports, she dreamed of becoming a newscaster. Kelly Nash, a 2006 graduate of Clemson University in Clemson (South Carolina) and a bachelor's degree in communication and Media Studies. She then completed her studies at Clemson with a Master's degree in Youth Development Leadership in the year 2009. In exchange for covering the soccer and baseball teams during the duration of her Sports information Department career, she received an athletic scholarship that was full-time through the Clemson Academic Department.



 Kelly Nash is MLB Network studio host, and is featured in a variety of shows on the network including the evening highlights show, Quick Pitch. Her appearances on On The Fly, the Nightly Game recap show, as well as NHL Network Studio are a part of her role as host of NHL Network Studio. She joined the MLB Network in March 2015. In the year 2015 she began her contribution to the NHL Network.
